How to enrol in a Degree Programme with a limited access

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and you enrol for the first time, or you have already been enrolled but you have lapsed or waived, within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

1. access the Alice portal
2. from the menu, select “Secretariat” and then “Choose your course (enrolment)”
3. on “Scelta tipo domanda di Immatricolazione” select “Standard enrolment”
4. follow the procedure selecting the degree programme (if you had previously selected another degree programme click on “Modifica il corso di studio scelto”)
5. print the registration form (FORIM)
6. proceed with the first installment payment, if you have not applied for a DSU scholarship.

The scholarship application and the first installment payment receipt are automatically acquired.

After the first installment payment or DSU scholarship application upload, your enrolment is complete: within 2 working days you will receive a confirmation email. On the Alice web portal home page, a message ‘IMMATRICOLATO 2020/21’ will be displayed.

In addition, you will have to sign the FORIM, scan it or photograph it, and upload it in the dedicated section of the Alice web portal (select “Allegati carriera” from the menu).

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and are already enrolled in another degree programme of the University of Pisa, within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

• formally waive to the previous degree programme and re-enrol according to the procedures described in the other sections

or

• start the following Degree Programme change procedure:

1. connect to the portal gepaco.adm.unipi.it with the same credentials used for the Alice web portal
2. follow the instructions to select the degree programme
3. upload the DSU scholarship receipt or the payment receipt of the first installment a.y. 2020/2021.

Your Degree Programme change request will be accepted only if your tuitions fees are all paid (including previous years’ tuition fees).

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and are already enrolled in another Italian University, within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

• formally waive to the previous degree programme and re-enrol according to the procedures described in the other sections

or

• start the following University change procedure:

1. access the Alice portal
2. from the menu, select “Secretariat” and then “Choose your course (enrolment)”
3. on ” Scelta tipo domanda di Immatricolazione ” select ” Trasferimento in entrata”
4. follow the procedure by selecting the degree programme (if you have previously selected another degree programme click on “Modifica il corso di studio scelto”)
5. enter the data of your previous university degree programme
6. print the registration form (FORIM)
7. if you have not applied for a DSU scholarship, proceed with the first installment payment
8. access the admission test web portal test-ingresso.adm.unipi.it with the same credentials used for the Alice web portal, and
   • select ” Immatricolazione per trasferimento d’ateneo”
   • upload the receipt of your DSU scholarship application or the payment receipt of the first installment.

The scholarship application and the first installment payment receipt are automatically acquired.

After the administrative check by the Centro Matricolandosi, you are required to:

1. print the clearance form “nullaosta” you received by e-mail and also available on the web portal test-ingresso.adm.unipi.it
2. deliver the clearance form “nullaosta” to the Italian university of origin, along with the university change request in compliance with the procedure and terms in force at that university
3. print and sign the enrollment form, scan or photograph it and upload it in the dedicated section of the Alice web portal (select “Allegati carriera” from the menu)
4. wait for the Students’Office communication regarding your previous university leave sheet and the enrollment completion.

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and are already graduated, within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

1. access the Alice portal
2. select “Secretariat” from the menu and then “Choose your course (enrolment)”
3. on the “Scelta tipo domanda di Immatricolazione” page, select “Degree programme shortening”
4. follow the procedure by selecting the degree programme (if you have previously selected another degree programme click on “Modifica il corso di studio scelto”)
5. print the enrollment form (FORIM)
6. proceed with the the first installment payment if you have not applied for a DSU scholarship.

The scholarship application and the first installment payment receipt are automatically acquired.

After the first installment payment of or the DSU scholarship application upload, your enrolment is complete: within 2 working days you will receive a confirmation email. On the Alice web portal home page, a message ‘IMMATRICOLATO 2020/21’will be displayed.

In addition, you will be required to:

1. sign the FORIM, scan it or photograph it, and upload it in the dedicated section of the Alice web portal (select “Allegati carriera” from the menu)
2. submit the qualification recognition form to the Students’Office, attaching the self-certification of the degree held and the exams taken.

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and are graduating in another Degree programme of the University of Pisa, you are entitled to keep your place until 31 December 2020.

Within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

1. access the Alice portal
2. proceed with the first installment payment if you have not applied for a DSU scholarship
3. access the admission test web portal test-ingresso.adm.unipi.it with the same credentials used for the Alice web portal, and

• •  select ” Immatricolazione laureando”
  • upload the receipt of your DSU scholarship application or the payment receipt of the first installment.

If you succeeded the Degree Programme admission test and are graduating in another University, you are entitled to keep your place until 31 December 2020.

Within the mandatory deadline indicated in the final ranking list or following ranking list reassignment you are required to:

1. access Alice portal
2. select “Secretariat” from the menu and then “Choose your course (enrolment)”
3. in the section “Scelta tipo domanda di Immatricolazione”, select “Abbreviazione Carriera”
4. follow the procedure by selecting the degree programme (if you have previously selected another degree programme click on “Modifica il corso di studio scelto”)
5. print the enrollment form (FORIM)
6. proceed with the first installment payment, if you have not applied for a DSU scholarship
7. access the admission test web portal test-ingresso.adm.unipi.it with the same credentials used for the Alice web portal, and

• • select ” Immatricolazione laureando”
  • upload the receipt of your DSU scholarship application or the payment receipt of the first installment

After graduation, you will be required to:

1. sign the FORIM, scan it or photograph it, and upload it in the dedicated section of the Alice web portal (select “Allegati carriera” from the menu)
2. submit the qualification recognition form to the Students’Office, attaching the self-certification of the degree held and the exams taken.

The Enrolment Form (FORIM), signed on both pages, will be checked by the Centro Matricolandosi.

Please note that the Students Office and Centro Matricolandosi are closed for Summer holidays from 8 to 18 August 2020. All files submitted in this period will be checked starting from 19 August 2020.

A welcome email will be sent to your personal account as enrollment confirmation.

If you are residing in Italy, you will receive the Student card by mail to the address you have provided during enrollment procedure, starting from 1 September 2020 and within 30 days from enrollment.

Students with handicap under art. 3 Italian Law no. 104/1992 or with a certified disability equal or above 66% are required to upload a medical certificate attesting their health condition for university tuition fees exemption (duty stamp is required anyway). Some special categories under art. 1.1.2 lett. d) e) and art.1.1.3 lett. c) of the Regulations on Tuition fees (such as Italian government scholarship holders, competition winners, detained subjects ) shall email to matricolandosi@unipi.it for a specific calculation of tuition fees.

If you have a qualification obtained abroad, in addition to the procedures described above, your documentation should be integrated according to your citizenship. Please check all the information on the following pages:

• Italian citizenship
• European citizenship (EU citizens, from the European Economic Area, the Swiss Federation, and non EU citizens with a residency permit)
• Non EU citizenship with residency outside of Italy

Students of Bachelor’s/Master’s/Long-Cycle Degree Programmes should submit their DSU scholarship application by the mandatory deadline of 4 September 2020.

If you apply for a scholarship, the first installment payment is postponed to 1 February 2021.

It is however recommended to submit your application for the University tuition fees reduction by 31 October 2020 at 12.00, which will be automatically considered in the event of no admission to the ranking list for DSU benefits.

After the publication of the scholarship ranking, uneligible candidates are required to pay the first installment by 1 February 2021. Successful candidates shall provide a virtually paid revenue stamp of € 16.00.
