In order to enroll, students must pass a selection.
The applications for admission test start on 22 July 2020 and the deadlines are the following:
On Cisia portal: 10 September 2020 (at 2 pm)
On Alice portal: 10 September 2020 (at 3 pm)
Places availibility
66 places for EU and equated non EU citizens
8 places for non EU citizens residing abroad and applying for Visa (2 reserved to Marco Polo Project candidates)
How to sign up to the admission test
Sign up or log in to the Cisia portal from 22 July 2020 to 10 September 2020 (by 2 pm):
- Follow instructions to choose the admission test and the venue
- Select the date 16 September 2020 and the venue University of Pisa
- Pay the admission test fee by the deadline
Sign up or log in to the Alice portal from 22 July 2020 to 10 September 2020 (by 3 pm):
- In order to sign up you will be asked to insert details about your Health Insurance card (tessera sanitaria) and your tax code (codice fiscale)
- You will have to upload a scanned copy of your Identity Document and a passport-sized photograph
- Once you entered your personal area, please select “Secretariat” and then “Admssion Test”
- Once you have completed the registration, a receipt of registration to the admission test with a unique number will be available

16 September 2020, at 9 am
The venue will be posted on 11 September 2020.
Documents to bring to the test
- valid identity document;
- entry form- composed by 2 pages. The form is sent by email . Alternatively, it can be downloaded from the portal test d’ingresso (use the Alice portal login and password).
The admission test topics
The test will have 40 multiple choice questions with 5 options each to be carried out in 70 minutes. Candidates must select only one option. Questions will be divided as follows:
- 8 general culture questions
- 6 logical reasoning questions
- 12 historical questions
- 6 drawing and representation questions
- 20 physics and mathematics questions
Test topics are detailed in Annex A of Ministry Decree n.214 of 12 June 2020
Test assessment
- 1.5 pt for each correct answer
- – 4 pts for each incorrect answer
- 0 pt for each omissed answer
Ranking list and ranking scroll
Ranking list for ordinary places
The ranking list is based on the score obtained in the test in decreasing order.
Candidates having provided no answers will not be included in the ranking list.
In case of equality, it will prevail:
- In decreasing order , the score obtain by the candidate in solving, respectively, questions of:
- general culture
- logical reasoning
- history
- drawing and representation
- physics and mathematics
- in case of further equality, the younger student will prevail.
After the complete ranking scroll, vacant places will be reassigned to those candidates having applied for the same degree admission test for a.y. 2020-2021 in other universities. The requests will be accepted until the full coverage of places (please find more detailed information for admission requests on the call).
