How to find the Student Administration Office (Segreteria Studenti) 


  • How to get to the WIS Welcome International students Helpdesk?

If you are a student with qualifications obtained abroad (High school diploma or Degree certificate), regardless of your citizenship: please go to Welcome International Students! (WIS!) helpdesk.

After the online procedure, you have to complete your enrolment at Wis! (Welcome International Students) helpdesk.

Open from Monday to Friday from 11.00 to 13.00 in Lungarno Pacinotti 44, ground floor.

  • How to get to the CENTRO MATRICOLANDOSI?

Walking: Via Buonarroti is about a 25-minute walk from the central train station.
Taking bus n.4 (Porta Lucca direction) and getting off at the Largo Bruno Pontecorvo bus stop
Taking the bus of the LAM-VERDE (Pratale direction).

  • How to get to the Cecina administrative office?

By TRAIN: from the central station of Cecina, crossing Piazza Gramsci and walking for approximately 500m, reach Piazza Guerrazzi. Turn left along Corso Matteotti for 200m and turn right onto Via Marrucci, proceed to the end, for another 200m, reaching Via Montanara. Turn left, go past the roundabout proceeding straight ahead and take the downhill road, at the end of the curve follow via della Ferriera. Once you reach the parking lot, head left until the end of the street. You will reach a square where the Secretariat is located on the ground floor, at the “Torre dell’Orologio” building of the CPTM.

By CAR: exit at CECINA CENTRO, at the roundabout, take Via Curtatone, continue for 400m and turn right into Via dei Montanini, continue to number 15. You will find yourself in front of the “Torre dell’Orologio” building CPTM, the decentralized administrative office is located on the ground floor.

  • How to get to the Livorno administrative office?

By train: take the city bus LAM BLU from the train station and get off at the“Ardenza Mare” bus stop. Once you get off the bus, walk in the opposite direction for about 50 meters, go to the right hand-side of the street, via dei Pensieri, and continue until you reach number n.60. Alternatively, take bus n.5 at Piazza Grande, “Pensieri” bus stop which corresponds to the entrance to the racecourse (Ippodromo) ‘Caprilli’, continue until you have reached n.60. From the train station, you can reach Piazza Grande with buses n.2, 8N and 8R.

By car: having taken the A12, once you have passed the Livorno exit, take the Aurelia and get off at Livorno Sud (Livorno direction), follow the signs to “ZonaSportiva/ImpiantiSportivi”, once you arrive to the Stadium (which is on via dei Pensieri), keep driving for another 100 meters until you reach n.60.
Every Friday morning, in via dei Pensieri, up to the civic number 56, there is a local market, so it is advisable to enter by car in via dei Pensieri from Viale Italia.

  • How to get to the Pontedera Secretariat?

By train: once at the central train station cross the underpass on the side of the viale Rinaldo Piaggio. Once you exit the underpass, go to the left and continue for about 200 meters. Cross the road and go to Via Maestri del Lavoro; you will see the entrance to the office on the left hand-side of the parking lot.
By car: follow the signs to ‘centro/Polo Sant’Anna/MuseoPiaggio’. Once you arrive at the viale Rinaldo Piaggio, in front of the Polo Sant’Anna (n.34), you will see an overpass/viaduct (via Maestri del Lavoro) which leads to a parking lot: on the left hand-side of this parking lot you will see the entrance to the office.
