Since the a.y. 2015/2016 the Department of Engineering has decided to use the online tests (TOLC-I) promoted and managed by CISIA (Consorzio Interuniversitario Sistemi per l’Accesso). High school students interested in studying Engineering in Pisa will now be able to sign up and take the test on the dates established in the annual calendar available at the CISIA portal (www.cisiaonline.it). Passing this test (which depends on the criteria of each university) allows students to enrol in an Engineering degree programme without having to take supplementary course credits.
Degree programmes for which students are expected to take the TOLC-I test:
Aerospace Engineering (IAS-L)
Chemical Engineering (ICH-L)
Civil, Environmental and Building Engineering (ICE-L)
Energy Engineering (IGT-L)
Management Engineering (IGE-L)
Telecommunications Engineering (ITC-L)
For the a.y. 2017/2018, please consult the ‘Admission Exams’ section of the portal for the following degree programmes:
Biomedical Engineering (IBI-L)
Electronic Engineering (IEL-L)
Computer Engineering (IFO-L)
Mechanical Engineering (IMC-L)
For the 2017-18 academic year, the School of Engineering at the University of Pisa has released 6 dates to take the test. Consult the appropriate page for the test.
You may take the test at any of the branches of the CISIA which are part of the TOLC-I (available in Italian only
keeping in mind that we will only accept those tests that have been taken by September 2017.

4th, 5th, 6th September 2017 (places available: 1,260)

Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna
Candidates who have passed the admission exam at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna are exempt from taking the evaluation test.
